Our favorite surf spots in Uluwatu
Our surf school is located in Uluwatu area and we can bring you to different surf spots around the Bukit peninsula depending on your surf level skill and the season. Uluwatu area is perfect for all leveled surfers because you can find all types of waves, there are easy mellow surf breaks to advanced waves all depending on the size of the swell. During rainy season in Bali, between the months of November-April, the surf is much better in Nusa Dua area where the waves protected from the strong western passage winds. We can organize car transportation for you to the surf spots, for an extra fee.

ULUWATU SURF SPOT
Uluwatu is a world famous surf spot, with pumping waves throughout the dry season. Works in all swell, prefers low to mid tide with annoying backwash when tide too high.
Great for Advanced surfers and intermediate surfers on small days! Uluwatu is not a beginner friendly surf spot with its sharp reef, going out there the first time you need a surf guide to respect the lineup.
IMPOSSIBLE BEACH
This surf spot is very much like the name, impossible to make the section unless you catch the right wave. Many closeouts but the good ones passing through offer long left handers. Impossible is perfect for intermediate surfers wanting to improve angling, speed and surfing left handers. On bigger days it offers amazing long waves for advanced surfers, reaching all the way to Bingin if lucky.
BALANGAN BEACH
Balangan is the perfect wave for all levels, from beginner surfing in the whitewash waves close to the beach to big barrels for advanced surfers on bigger days. Sometimes the wave is very fast breaking but when the tide and swell aligns you have long left hander waves. On high tide you can find a sneaky right hander. Balangan is also great for childrens surf lessons, surfing close to the beach!
BINGIN BEACH SURF
Bingin is a shallow left hander which offers barreling waves on almost all days during dry season. Best during low and mid tide, not good for intermediate surfers since there is only one takeoff zone being hard to catch waves off the shoulder. Perfect for both adults and children on smaller days for learning to angle the board and surf steeper waves.
PADANG PADANG SURF SPOT
Padang Padang is a legendary wave, famous around the world for its huge left hander barrels. It has a small right hander wave on the other side of the channel that offers the perfect beginner lessons, only problem is it gets quite crowded. Baby padang is great for beginners and intermediate surfers, but best on smaller swell, on big swell it is a lot of water moving. Thats when Padang Padang is on where really advanced surfers can catch the barrel of their life!
DREAMLAND BEACH
Dreamland is the perfect wave when the swell is smaller for beginners and intermediate surfers, having both shore breaks and outer reef breaks. It gets crowded in the afternoon, because its the perfect place for a sunset surf! It works great on low tide which is rare in Uluwatu area, so early morning surfs when its super low tide is perfect here!
