You will get to surf a world class A frame wave in Sumbawa with many other surf spots in the area around the main surf spot in Lakey Peak. This trip is for intermediate and advanced surfers who want to explore more of Indonesia and surf amazing waves, meet great people with good vibes, experience the local culture and have beach BBQs with bonfire and songs.

Location of the surftrip
Lakey Peak is in Dompu, Sumbawa
A small surfers village far away from everything, but still accessible from Bali and Lombok, only taking a couple hours of travel! We will head over to Lakey Peak with the car but our guests will have the chance to choose if you want to fly to either Bima or Lombok and you join the car for the rest of the trip. There is not a lot of things to do in Lakey Peak other than surfing, so we will focus on surfing as much as possible and do day trips to cool spots around the area.

Imagine waking up to the sound of the waves, stepping your foot out on the terrace you can directly see the waves firing in front at the Peak. With a huge private lawn, it is the perfect spot to chill at after the surf whilst eating healthy foods from the restaurant in the front. Our accommodation is located within walking distance to the main surf spot at lakey peak.

7 surf spots with waves for all leveled surfers
In Lakey Peak there are waves for all leveled surfers, from beginner until professional surfer. Our trip would be for intermediate and advanced surfers, since you will have more surf spots to try out. Both mellow long left and right handers to puny barreling waves, depending on swell and the season. We will surf two times a day, and do a day trip to the other side of the bay on one of the days.
Other activites
what you will experience outside of surfing
In Lakey Peak you have besides surfing possibility to try out skating in the local skate park, head to nangadoro to watch a surreal sunset, beach BBQs with live music from the boys and a trip to the hot springs including fishing. You can also chill at our amazing yard of our accommodation, and do some surf related workouts we will arrange one or even two surf focused workouts for you!
Transportation
driving from Bali to Sumbawa with van
Our crew will be driving the car from Bali to Sumbawa and back, with the surfboards and bags. If you want to join in on the adventure you can join the car, and get to see both Lombok and Sumbawa. But you also have the option of flying to either Lombok or Sumbawa and join the car from there, to minimize the time spent in the car. If you prefer to stay in Lombok on the way back you are more than welcome!
