Our surf school is based in Uluwatu, but without a fixed location, which means we can take you to the best surf spots around Uluwatu such as Dreamland beach, Uluwatu , Balangan, or even Nusa Dua. The choice of spot depends on your surf skills and the daily wave conditions, so you always get the most out of your lesson.

SURF LEVELS
We provide surf lessons for every skill level in Uluwatu, Bali. Beginners can learn the basics and catch their first waves, intermediate surfers can build confidence and improve techniques, while advanced surfers can refine their style and explore more challenging surf spots in Uluwatu.
Either it is your first time surfing or you already know how to catch your own waves, we are here to support your surfing and help you improve, while feeling comfortable in the ocean.
BEGINNER
SURF LESSONS
For those who have never surfed before or it has been a long time since you surfed and need to go through the basics. During the beginner surf lesson we will teach you the basic surf theory before entering the water. You will learn how to surf in easy waves in Uluwatu area, on surf spots like Balangan beach, Dreamland or Padang-Padang. The whole surf lesson will be 2 hours long.
INTERMEDIATE
SURF LESSONS
Intermediate surf lessons are for surfers who already know the basics of surfing, but have not mastered the skills. You will learn how to read the waves, turning and ocean safety, growing your skills as a surfer. We will bring you to surf green waves around Uluwatu, the best spots for practicing turns and other maneuvers. The lesson begins with a short explanation of the surf spot.

SURF GUIDING
Surf guiding is for surfers who do not need teaching anymore, but want help finding the best surf spots in Uluwatu or other areas in Bali. Our prices varies to which surf spot we bring you to. With this type of booking, we will help you to organize photographer to take your videos when surfing. We will share to you or favorite surf spots around Uluwatu.

SURF SPOTS
We offer surf lessons in Uluwatu, during most of the year our lessons are in Uluwatu but during rainy season we also offer surf lessons in Nusa Dua area.
Beginner surf lessons take place at Balangan Beach and Dreamland Beach, two safe and consistent spots ideal for first-time surfers.
For intermediate and advanced surf lessons, we take students to different surf spots around Uluwatu, Bali, depending on the swell, tide, and your surf level.
Bali has two surf seasons, and our lessons adapt to the conditions. During the Dry Season (May–September), we surf mainly on the west coast around Uluwatu. In the Wet Season (October–April), we move to the south-east coast near Nusa Dua, where the waves work better during this time of year.
At Hawaii Surf Bali, we make sure every student surfs the best possible spot for their level and the conditions of the day.

If you want to remember your first time surfing with pictures or have a private photographer join you when surfing around Bali, you have come to the right place. With our photography gear we can film from the beach or ocean your surfing, for up to 6h including 4k videos. Our camera gear is great for uploading on social medias, making content for ads or websites. When booking a surf lesson you can include videos and pictures for an extra fee, just let us know you want pictures in advance so we can organize everything ready for you!
